Sheehan Classic 5K |
| Organizers are excited to announce that the
premier event will be a 5K. The race will continue to provide the same high quality amenities that
our participants deserve. Come run with New Jersey's best on our fast, USATF certified course. Clocks and water stops at each mile,
computerized results. Overall and age group awards will be presented.
The Sheehan Classic 5K is a great opportunity to join a healthy fitness activity. Bring the stroller and make this a family affair. The course features an aid station and a digital clock at the finish with chip timing. Consider forming a team to join you in the fun! |

| A series of races for the kids is on tap for Friday evening. The 2013 races will be staged this year in Marine Park (third year at this location), beginning at 6:30 p.m. Each age group will have its own race. Children under 4 can run with a parent or guardian in our 50 yard toddler trot. Spotters and helpers will be on the course. Medals to all finishers. |

| There will be team competition in the 5K for Men's and Women's
Open, Men's & Women's Masters Teams. There will be a Corporate Team

| A Runner's Expo Village will be held on Friday and Saturday of Race Weekend in
Marine Park. Admission is free to all. This includes consumer's show, so come out to see the
newest running items and pick up some great bargains. Hours are 2:00 - 8:30 p.m. on Friday
and 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. |

Famous Sheehan Classic Post-Race Picnic The George Sheehan Classic will once again host a great Post-Race Picnic featuring Front Street Trattoria sandwiches in Marine Park following the run and walk on Saturday morning. Be sure to stop by and re-fuel after your event! |

Post Race Party Following the awads ceremony, stop by Brannigan's for the Post Race Party, sponsored by Miller Lite. In 2011, the Party featured live musical entertainment by The Tor Miller Band (TMB), a group of local musicians, ages 16-18, who have made a name for themselves as “the upcoming band to watch” in the Jersey Shore music scene. |
